Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mürren, head towards the Mürren cable car station. Follow the signs directing you to the Allmendhubel funicular. Take the funicular up to Allmendhubel. Once at the top, you'll find a beautiful hiking trail marked towards Oeschinensee. Follow the signs for approximately 1.5 hours, enjoying the stunning views of the Alps along the way. The trail will lead you down into the valley towards Kandersteg. As you approach Oeschinen Lake, you will see signs guiding you to the viewpoint.

Public Transport
From Mürren, walk to the Mürren train station located near the cable car station. Take the Schilthorn Piz Gloria cable car to the top. From there, you will need to take a train from the Schilthorn station to Kandersteg. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Kandersteg, follow the signs to the Oeschinensee cable car station. Take the cable car up to the Oeschinen Lake station, and from there, a well-marked trail leads to the lake and the viewpoint.
