    Getting There

    Hiking

    From Mürren, head towards the Schilthorn cable car station which is located at the center of the village. Follow the signs for the cable car. Once you arrive at the Schilthorn station, take the cable car to the top of the Schilthorn. After disembarking, follow the marked hiking trails leading towards Bettmeralp. The Glacier d'Aletsch is accessible from various trails that start from the Bettmeralp area. Ensure you have a map or a guide, as the trails can vary in difficulty.

    Public Transport

    Starting from Mürren, take the Schilthorn cable car to the top of the Schilthorn. From there, you will need to take the cable car to Birg. After reaching Birg, transfer to the cable car that goes down to the valley station at Stechelberg. From Stechelberg, you can take a bus to Bettmeralp. Once you arrive in Bettmeralp, follow the signs to the Glacier d'Aletsch. The walk from the bus stop to the glacier is well-marked.
