From Nendaz, begin your journey by taking Route de la Tzoumaz (Road 21) to the south. Follow the signs for Sion and get on the A9 motorway towards Sion. After about 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Hérémence (Exit 27). Continue on Route de la Dixence for approximately 12 kilometers. The road will lead you directly to the Grande Dixence dam, which is well-signposted. There is a parking area available near the dam, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

From Nendaz, take the PostBus (line 181) towards Hérémence. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
