Car
From Nendaz, head south on Route de la Télécabine towards Route de Nendaz. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Route du Praz. Follow the signs for the A21 motorway. Merge onto A21 and follow signs for Sion/Zermatt. After about 20 km, take the exit towards Sion/Châteauneuf. Continue on Route de l'Aéroport and follow the signs for Zermatt. Once you reach Zermatt, park your car in a designated parking area as Zermatt is car-free. From the parking area, you can take a shuttle bus or walk to Leisee, which is a short distance away.
Public Transportation
From Nendaz, take a PostBus from the Nendaz bus station towards Sion. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Sion, transfer to a train towards Zermatt. The train ride will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arriving in Zermatt, follow the signs towards the town center. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus to the Leisee area, which is easily accessible on foot and offers beautiful views along the way.
