Car
If you're driving, begin your journey in the center of Neuchâtel. Navigate to Rue des Alpes and follow the signs for Rue de la Maladière. Continue onto Boulevard des Pâquis, and then turn onto Rue Abram-Louis-Breguet. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption will be on your left at Rue Abram-Louis-Breguet 5-11. There is limited street parking near the basilica, so be prepared to find a spot in nearby public parking garages if needed.
Public Transportation
To reach the Basilica using public transportation, start by heading to the Neuchâtel railway station (Gare de Neuchâtel). From the station, take bus line 5, which heads towards 'Les Hauts de la Ville'. Get off at the 'Basilique' stop. The basilica is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at Rue Abram-Louis-Breguet 5-11. A single bus ticket costs around CHF 3.00, and tickets can be purchased at vending machines at the station or on the bus.
Walking
If you're already in the city center, you can walk to the Basilica. Start at Place Pury, the main square in Neuchâtel. Head east on Rue du Seyon, continuing straight until you reach Rue des Alpes. Turn right and follow Rue des Alpes until you reach Boulevard des Pâquis. Turn left onto Boulevard des Pâquis, and shortly after, turn right onto Rue Abram-Louis-Breguet. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption will be on your left at 5-11 Rue Abram-Louis-Breguet. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
