    Train

    From Thun train station, take a train towards Montreux. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Get off at the 'Bulle' station. From there, transfer to a local bus (line 21) towards 'Gruyères'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach 'Gruyères' bus stop.

    Bus

    Starting from Thun, go to the Thun bus terminal located next to the train station. Take bus number 10 to 'Fribourg'. At Fribourg, transfer to bus number 23 towards 'Bulle'. Finally, at Bulle, switch to bus line 21 heading to 'Gruyères'. The total travel time will be around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on transfer times.

    If you are in the town of Gruyères after taking public transport, walk from the 'Gruyères' bus stop. Head straight on Rue du Château for about 5-10 minutes, and you will arrive at Château de Gruyères, located at Rue du Château 8.
