Train
From Thun train station, take a train towards Spiez. After about 10 minutes, get off at Spiez station. Once you arrive at Spiez, transfer to a train heading towards Zweisimmen. This train ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Get off at Erlenbach im Simmental station. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the bus station.
Bus
From Erlenbach im Simmental station, take the bus number 20 towards Stockhornbahn. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Stockhornbahn (cable car station) stop. From there, you can take the cable car up to Stockhorn, which offers stunning views and is a great starting point for hiking.
Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to hike to Stockhorn, start from the center of Erlenbach im Simmental. Follow the marked hiking trails towards Stockhorn. The hike will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water.
