Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from Thun's main train station (Bahnhof Thun), exit the station and head east towards the city center. Walk along the main street, which is called 'Zähringerstrasse'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Aarbergerstrasse'. Turn left onto Aarbergerstrasse and follow it as it curves along the river Aare. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the beautiful Aare River promenade. Continue along the promenade until you reach the bridge called 'Aarebrücke'. Cross the bridge to the opposite side of the river. Once across, turn left and head towards 'Könizstrasse'. After about 5 minutes, you will see signs directing you to Hurifluh. Follow the signs to the park entrance, which is located about 1 km from the bridge.

    From Thun main train station (Bahnhof Thun), take tram line 1 towards 'Thun, Zäziwil'. Get off at 'Thun, Bälliz' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Aare River and follow the promenade heading east. You will eventually reach 'Aarebrücke'. Cross the bridge, and then turn left towards 'Könizstrasse'. Follow the path to Hurifluh, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bridge.
