Walking
If you are in the center of Thun, head towards the Aare River. Walk along the riverbank towards the east. You will pass the Thun Town Hall (Rathaus) on your right. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Schlossstrasse. Turn left onto Schlossstrasse and follow the road uphill. After a short walk, you will see Thun Castle (Schloss Thun) on your right, located at Schlossberg 1.
Public Transport
From Thun Bahnhof (train station), take bus number 21 towards 'Thun, Schloss'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Thun, Schloss' stop. From there, it is a short walk uphill to Thun Castle, which will be directly in front of you at Schlossberg 1.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle in Thun, start from the Thun Bahnhof and head towards the Aare River. Follow the river path along the Aare until you reach the junction with Schlossstrasse. Turn left onto Schlossstrasse, and cycle uphill. Thun Castle will be on your right at Schlossberg 1.
