From the Thun train station, exit the station and head southeast on Bahnhofstrasse toward Aarepromenade. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the Aare river. Turn right onto Aarepromenade and follow this scenic riverside path for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several parks and lovely views of the river. Continue until you reach the Ob. Schleuse area, which is marked by a large sluice gate. Flusswelle Thun is located right next to the sluice at Ob. Schleuse, 3600 Thun.
