Walking
Start from the Thun train station. Head southwest on Bahnhofplatz towards the main street (Ob. Hauptgasse). Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Aare River. Cross the bridge (Aarebrücke) to the other side of the river. After crossing, turn left and follow the riverbank for approximately 1 km until you reach the park area. From the park, follow the signs towards Grüsisbergwald. The last part involves a bit of an uphill walk; you will see signs indicating the path to Grüsisbergwald, which will lead you through the woods and to the viewpoint.
Public Transport
From the Thun train station, take bus number 21 towards 'Wartboden'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Wartboden' stop. From there, follow the signs that lead towards Grüsisbergwald. It is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes uphill through the forest to reach the viewing point.
