If you are in Thun's city center, start at the Thun train station (Bahnhof Thun). Exit the station and head straight toward the main road (Aarestrasse). Follow Aarestrasse towards the Aare River for about 300 meters, enjoying views of the river along the way. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you see a sign for Berntor, which will be on your right.
