Walking
If you are in Thun's city center, start at the Thun train station (Bahnhof Thun). Exit the station and head straight toward the main road (Aarestrasse). Follow Aarestrasse towards the Aare River for about 300 meters, enjoying views of the river along the way. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank for another 600 meters until you reach the bridge (Brucke). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you see a sign for Berntor, which will be on your right.
Public Transport - Bus
From Thun train station, take bus line 21 or 22 in the direction of 'Berntor'. The bus stop is right outside the station. After about a 10-minute ride, get off at the 'Berntor' bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to your destination. Just follow the signs and enjoy the area.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near the Thun train station. Head toward Aarestrasse and cycle along the riverbank. The route is scenic and safe for cyclists. Continue along the river for about 1.5 km, then cross the bridge and follow the signs to Berntor, which should take around 15-20 minutes of cycling.
