Car
From the center of Uri, head south on the main road (A2) towards Andermatt. Follow the signs for Aareschlucht. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Schattenhalb. Continue on Aareschluchtstrasse for about 5 km until you reach Aareschlucht at Aareschluchtstrasse 16. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
Start at the Uri train station and take the train towards Brienz. You will need to change trains at Brienz to catch the train to Schattenhalb. Once you arrive at Schattenhalb station, it is a short walk of about 1 km to Aareschlucht. Follow the signs from the station towards Aareschluchtstrasse, and you will arrive at Aareschlucht at Aareschluchtstrasse 16.
