Getting There

Car

From the center of Uri, head south on the A2 motorway towards Lucerne. Continue on the A2 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the exit for Grindelwald. Take the exit and follow the signs for Grindelwald. Once in Grindelwald, follow the signs towards 'Bachalpsee' and park at the designated parking area near the valley station of the First cable car.
Public Transportation

Start at the main train station in Uri. Take a train towards Lucerne and transfer at Lucerne to a train heading to Interlaken. Once at Interlaken, take the train to Grindelwald. From the Grindelwald train station, you can either walk to the valley station of the First cable car (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local bus that runs frequently to the cable car station. Once you arrive at the cable car station, board the First cable car to reach the area near Bachalpsee.
