If you're traveling by car from Uri, take the A2 motorway towards Bellinzona. Continue on A2 for approximately 35 km. Take exit 47-Bellinzona Nord and follow signs for Bellinzona. After exiting, merge onto Via Luigia Dessi and continue to follow signs for Castello di Montebello. After about 3 km, you will arrive at Via Artore 4, where the castle is located. There is parking available near the castle, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

For those using public transport, start at the Uri train station. Board a train towards Bellinzona. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bellinzona train station, exit and find the bus stop just outside the station. Take bus number 2 towards 'Castello di Montebello.' The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Castello di Montebello' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the castle entrance located at Via Artore 4. Ensure you check the bus schedule as services may vary.
