Getting there

Car

From Uri, take the A2 motorway heading towards Lucerne. After approximately 30 minutes, take exit 30 towards Göschenen/Lauterbrunnen. Follow the road signs for Lauterbrunnen, which will lead you through beautiful mountain scenery. Once in Lauterbrunnen, follow the signs to Staubbachfall, located at Losisgräbli 419. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees, which typically range from CHF 5 to CHF 10 for a few hours.

Public Transportation

From Uri, catch a train from the local station towards Interlaken Ost. This journey takes approximately 45 minutes. At Interlaken Ost, transfer to a train heading to Lauterbrunnen, which takes around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Lauterbrunnen station, you can either walk to Staubbachfall, which is about a 20-minute walk (1.6 km), or take a local bus that provides service to the waterfall area. Bus tickets range from CHF 2 to CHF 5 depending on the distance. The scenic walk to the waterfall is highly recommended, as you’ll see stunning views of the valley.
