Getting There

Car

From Lausanne, take the A1 motorway towards Geneva. After approximately 50 km, take exit 15 towards Vallorbe. Continue on Route de Vallorbe until you reach the D25 road. Turn left onto D25 and follow the signs for La Cluse-et-Mijoux. Continue on this road for about 15 km, and you will arrive at Château de Joux located at Rte du Château, 25300 La Cluse-et-Mijoux. There is parking available near the castle.
Public Transportation

From Lausanne, take a train from Lausanne Gare to Vallorbe. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Upon arrival at Vallorbe station, transfer to the bus line 711 towards La Cluse-et-Mijoux. The bus ride will take about 25 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Château de Joux'. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for the latest times.
Car

If you are coming from Montreux, head north on the A9 motorway towards Lausanne. After about 30 km, merge onto the A1 motorway towards Geneva. Continue as described above to reach Château de Joux.
Public Transportation

From Montreux, take a train towards Lausanne. Once at Lausanne Gare, transfer to a train to Vallorbe. After reaching Vallorbe, follow the instructions for bus line 711 to La Cluse-et-Mijoux as mentioned previously.
