For those using public transportation, take a train to Lausanne from any major city in Switzerland. Once you arrive at Lausanne train station, exit the station and take metro line M2 (the blue line) towards Ouchy. Get off at the 'Ouchy' station. From there, it is about a 20-minute walk to Haldimand Tower. Head northeast on Avenue d'Ouchy, turn left onto Rue de la Tour, and then continue onto Avenue de la Tour Haldimand where the tower is located.

If you prefer to walk from the metro station, after getting off at Ouchy, exit the station and walk towards the lake. Follow the lakeside promenade for a scenic route. Turn right at the first intersection onto Avenue de la Tour Haldimand. The tower will be on your right after a short walk.
