Public Transportation
From Wengen, start your journey by taking the Wengen train from the Wengen train station. The train will take you to Lauterbrunnen station, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you arrive at Lauterbrunnen, exit the train and transfer to the bus. Take the bus towards Lauterbrunnen, Stechelberg for about 10 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop 'Dornimaad, Wasserfall'. The Schiltwaldbach Wasserfall is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Dornimaad 148A. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Walking
If you prefer to hike, you can start from Wengen and follow the marked hiking trails towards Lauterbrunnen. The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and offers stunning views of the valley. Once you reach Lauterbrunnen, walk towards Dornimaad, following the signs for Schiltwaldbach Wasserfall. The waterfall is approximately a 30-minute walk from the village center of Lauterbrunnen.
Car
If you are driving, park your car at the Lauterbrunnen parking lot. From there, you can either take a bus or walk to the waterfall. The bus stop is located near the parking area. Take the bus to 'Dornimaad, Wasserfall'. Alternatively, it is about a 30-minute walk from the parking area to the waterfall. Please note that parking fees may apply, so check the local rates.
