Once you arrive at Lucerne station, exit the station and head straight towards the lake. You will see signs directing you to the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). It is about a 10-minute walk from the train station.

    From Zurich Hauptbahnhof, take the bus number 12 towards 'Bahnhofquai/HB'. Get off at the 'Zürich, Central' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 4 towards 'Zürich, Flughafen'. Get off at the 'Zürich, Sihlquai/Bahnhof' stop. Then, board a train to Lucerne (Luzern). Follow the instructions above from the train station to reach the Chapel Bridge.

  • Boat

    From Zurich, take a boat from 'Zürich Bürkliplatz' to 'Zürich Wollishofen'. This scenic route takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Wollishofen, you will need to transfer to a bus or train to reach Lucerne. The bus 33 is available from 'Wollishofen' to 'Zürich Hardplatz', and from there, take a train to Lucerne. After arriving at Lucerne, follow the signs to the Chapel Bridge as described earlier.
