From Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a direct train to Lucerne (Luzern). Trains run frequently, typically every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Lucerne station, exit the train and follow the signs to the main exit. Upon exiting, you will be in the heart of Lucerne.

After exiting Lucerne station, turn left and walk towards the lake. Continue walking straight until you reach the Reuss River. Cross the bridge (Kapellbrücke) and head towards the Old Town (Altstadt). Franziskanerkirche is located at Franziskanerpl. 1, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bridge. Look for the church's distinctive architecture as you approach.
