Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Vahdat, near the main square. Head southeast towards the main road, which is known as the A376. Continue walking along this road for approximately 3 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to Qurgonteppa. Here, you will see signs directing you towards Qurgonteppa. Cross the road and follow the signs. Once you reach the outskirts of Qurgonteppa, continue straight until you see signs for the Buddhistic cloister of Ajina-Tepa. It is approximately 1 km from the main road, located at QVX3+5QR, Qurgonteppa.

    From the center of Vahdat, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main square. Take a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Qurgonteppa. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Qurgonteppa, get off at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the Buddhistic cloister of Ajina-Tepa, which is approximately 3 km away. If walking, head southwest from the bus station along the main road until you see signs for the cloister.
