Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Arusha and cycle to Ngurdoto Crater. Start from the city center and head southeast on Sokoine Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Old Moshi Road. Turn left onto Old Moshi Road and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You'll see signs for Ngurdoto Crater along the way. For the more adventurous walkers, it's possible to hike to Ngurdoto Crater, although it's a long trek. Start at the Arusha Central Market, then walk along Boma Road heading southeast. Be aware this is quite a long walk, so ensure you have plenty of water and take breaks as needed. You’ll find the entrance to Ngurdoto Crater at the end of your walk.

To reach Ngurdoto Crater using public transport, take a daladala (minibus) from the central market area in Arusha. Look for a daladala heading towards Kijenge or Moshi. Get off at the nearest stop to the crater entrance, where you can walk the remaining distance to the entrance gate.
