Car Rental
If you have rented a car in Kilimanjaro Region, start your journey from Moshi or Arusha. From Moshi, head southwest on B1 towards Arusha. After approximately 30 km, take a left turn onto the road leading to Maji ya Chai. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the location marked JVHW+9JW. If you are coming from Arusha, drive northeast on B1 towards Moshi. After approximately 50 km, turn right onto the Maji ya Chai road and continue for about 5 km.

Public Transportation (Matatu)
To use public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Moshi or Arusha towards Maji ya Chai. From Moshi, catch a matatu from the Moshi bus station heading to Arusha. Get off at Maji ya Chai junction. From there, you can either walk for about 1 km or hire a local taxi to take you to JVHW+9JW. The matatu fare should be around TZS 1,000 to TZS 2,000.
