Our guide, Shadrack (Shady), was exceptional. He has a pair of eyes which are like binoculars. He made sure our experience was a memorable one. He is a great safe driver & is very knowledgeable. We saw 2 mega herds of wildebeests crossing the river, spotted more than 30 lions/lionesses/cubs, 13 cheetahs, countless elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, dik dik, impalas, gazelles, hippopotamus, warthogs, baboons etc We watched 4 lionesses/lions chasing after a Buffalo, lion/lioness mating, cheetahs crossing the river, elephants playing in the river then crossing it, We can't asked for any more than this.

Amazing Serengeti Safari Exceeded Expectations

We just completed our incredible 7-day safari in Tanzania. The guides were amazing and it was a fabulous trip! We were two families of 4 with adult children. It was the best trip of our lives (and we have traveled quite a bit). The wildlife, scenery and culture were absolutely fantastic. Each day was an exciting adventure with lots of wildlife sightings. We saw far more than we expected and were lucky to see all of the Big 5 and many more species. Our guides, Freddy Elias and Joseph Mushi, who were very knowledgeable and we learned so much about conservation, the wildlife and the culture of Tanzania. They are passionate about the animals and they are dedicated to their careers. Lion King Adventures is a locally owned company that supports local guides. They were knowledgable about conservation efforts and the outfitters and national parks seemed to be very well managed and sustainable. (And the guides knew where to find the animals!) The accommodations were beautiful and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend this safari trip to anyone and especially our guides.
