Getting There

Walking

Starting from Bukoba's central market, head southwest on the main road (Mwanza Road). After about 500 meters, you will reach a junction. Keep left at the junction to continue on Mwanza Road. Walk for another 600 meters until you see the entrance to the Bukoba Waterfront Park on your right. Continue walking straight for approximately 300 meters until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on Mwanza Road. After about 800 meters, you will see a sign for Lake Hotel on your left. Follow the path leading to the hotel entrance.
Bicycle

If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Bukoba Post Office. Cycle along Bukoba's main promenade towards the waterfront. Keep heading towards Mwanza Road, and after about 2 kilometers, turn left at the junction (you will see signs for the hotel). Continue cycling for another kilometer until you reach the Lake Hotel entrance on your right side.
Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)

If you prefer a motorcycle taxi, find a Boda Boda stand near Bukoba Post Office. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lake Hotel. The ride should take around 10 minutes. The driver will take you through Mwanza Road, and you should keep an eye out for the Lake Hotel sign on your left before reaching the waterfront.
