I had the priviledge of being Chef's tour in Zanzibar's first client! It was a wonderful experience to be led around the maze of streets of Stone City by Mariam in search for Zanzibari culinary gems such as aluwa or the zanzibar mix, and to learn about culinary traditions and the origins of zanzibari cuisine while savouring them. Mariam is a very personable person, who has her heart set on showing you a good time! I was on the afternoon tour, which I warmly recommend because you get to go to the fish market and buy the fish that will be cooked for you on Nakupenda sand bar while the sun sets - that's an unforgetable experience.

An Unforgettable Day in Zanzibar 🌴☀️

From the moment we were picked up by our driver Youssuf, to Ramadan, our guide at the Spice Farm, and finally Abdul, who guided us through Stone Town it was an absolutely wonderful day from start to finish! Abdul was incredibly friendly, funny, informative, and above all, very helpful. He guided us through Stone Town and took the time to explain everything in detail. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot that day, so at our own request, we had to shorten the tour a little. A special thank you also goes to Youssef, our driver. He was very friendly and helpful as well, and during the drive he shared many interesting stories and facts about the history and culture of Zanzibar. Thank you so much to the entire team for this beautiful and unforgettable day! 🙏🏝️☀️
