Car
If you are driving from the central area of Zanzibar City, head southeast on Nyerere Rd towards Malindi Rd. Continue on Malindi Rd for about 1.5 km. As you approach the waterfront, you will see the Old Dispensary on your right side. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a spot on the street.
Public Transportation
To reach the Old Dispensary using public transport, you can take a local daladala (minibus) from the central bus station in Zanzibar City. Look for routes heading towards Malindi or Stone Town. The fare is usually around 500 TZS. Once you reach the Malindi area, get off at the nearest stop and walk towards the waterfront. The Old Dispensary is located on Malindi Rd, just a short walk from the main road.

If you are staying in the Stone Town area, you can easily walk to the Old Dispensary. From the center of Stone Town, head east towards the coast. Walk along the waterfront, following Malindi Rd until you see the Old Dispensary. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding architecture.
