If you are in the city center, head towards Uhuru Street. You can start at the famous Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre. From there, walk straight down Samora Avenue until you reach the intersection with Uhuru Street. Turn left onto Uhuru Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Uhuru Monument will be on your right-hand side, just before reaching the intersection with the A1 road.

Cycle down Samora Avenue and turn left onto Uhuru Street when you reach the intersection. Continue cycling on Uhuru Street for about 1 km, and you will see the Uhuru Monument on your right.
