Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Dar es Salaam, make your way to Samora Avenue, which is one of the main roads. Walk towards the east until you reach the intersection with Sokoine Drive. Turn left onto Sokoine Drive. Continue walking down Sokoine Drive for about 1 kilometer. Old Boma is located at 57HP+RV5, Sokoine Dr. Look for the distinctive architecture of the building, which is a historic site and a well-known landmark in the area.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start from the city center and head east towards Samora Avenue. Cycle along Samora Avenue until you reach Sokoine Drive. Turn left onto Sokoine Drive and continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. Old Boma will be on your left at 57HP+RV5, Sokoine Dr. Ensure you obey local traffic rules and be cautious of pedestrians.
Public Transport (Dala Dala)
From the city center, head to the closest Dala Dala station. Take a Dala Dala heading towards the 'Mchafukoge' route. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Sokoine Drive. Once you reach your destination, disembark and walk along Sokoine Drive for about 200 meters. Old Boma is located at 57HP+RV5, Sokoine Dr. Look for the historical building which is easily recognizable.
