Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Mbeya Railway Station, exit the station and head south on the B345 road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the A104 road. Turn left onto A104 and walk for approximately 500 meters. The MBEYA CITY INTERCHANGE will be on your right, marked by a large sign.

  • Bicycle

    From the Mbeya Central Market, rent a bicycle and head south towards the B345 road. Once you reach B345, turn right and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. At the junction with the A104 road, turn left and cycle for another 500 meters. You'll find MBEYA CITY INTERCHANGE on your right.

  • Public Transport (Daladala)

    Board a daladala (shared minibus) at Mbeya Central Market heading towards 'Shabani' or 'Kiwira'. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the B345 junction. Once you alight, walk about 200 meters towards the A104 road and turn left. MBEYA CITY INTERCHANGE will be visible on your right after about 500 meters.

    You can hire a boda boda from any location within Mbeya. Ask the rider to take you to MBEYA CITY INTERCHANGE, which is located at the junction of the B345 and A104 roads. They are familiar with the location and it should take around 10 minutes from the city center depending on traffic.
