Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey from the central area in Uyole. Head south towards the main road, Mbezi Road. Once you reach Mbezi Road, turn right and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction towards Lake Ngosi. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to Lake Ngosi View Point. At the junction, turn left onto the dirt path that leads to the lake. This path is approximately 3 kilometers long and might require some effort to traverse, so be prepared for a hike.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Uyole. Cycle south on Mbezi Road for about 1 kilometer, then take a left at the junction towards Lake Ngosi. Continue cycling down the dirt path, which is around 3 kilometers long. The ride will provide you with beautiful scenery, but be cautious as the path may have some rough patches.

  • Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)

    For a quicker option, you can hire a motorcycle taxi, known as a Boda Boda. Head to a nearby Boda Boda stand in Uyole and negotiate a fare to Lake Ngosi View Point. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Ensure that you agree on the price before starting your journey, which typically ranges from 2,000 to 5,000 TZS depending on your bargaining skills and the distance.
