Walking
From the center of Moshi, head west on Uhuru Street towards Sokoine Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A23 highway. Turn left onto the A23 and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the B1 road, heading towards Hai. Follow this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you see signs for Chemka Hot Springs. Turn left onto the unpaved road leading to Chemka Hot Springs. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Chemka Hot Springs Campsite.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Moshi town. Start from the center of Moshi and head west on Uhuru Street. Continue until you reach Sokoine Road, then turn left. Follow Sokoine Road until it intersects with the A23 highway. Turn left onto the A23 and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto B1 road. Cycle along B1 for about 20 kilometers, keeping an eye out for road signs indicating Chemka Hot Springs. When you see the signs, turn left onto the unpaved road and cycle for approximately 3 kilometers to reach the campsite.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
From your location in Moshi, you can hire a motorbike taxi, known locally as Boda Boda. Tell the driver you want to go to Chemka Hot Springs. The driver will take you along the A23 highway. It is about a 30-minute ride depending on traffic. They will drop you off at the entrance of Chemka Hot Springs Campsite after turning left onto the access road about 3 kilometers before reaching the springs.

Public Transport (Daladala)
Head to the nearest daladala (minibus) stand in Moshi. Look for a daladala heading toward Hai. Once on board, pay the fare and stay on until you reach the stop for the A23 junction. Disembark and either walk or hire a Boda Boda to Chemka Hot Springs. If walking, head towards the B1 road and follow the previous walking directions from the junction. If taking a Boda Boda, inform the driver of your destination.
