Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Moshi, take the B1 road heading south. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with the B3 road. Turn left onto the B3 and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Kibosho District; keep following those signs. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto the road towards Sambarai. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Kilimanjaro Luxury Camp, which will be on your left. Ensure you have a map or GPS for navigation.

Public Transportation
From Moshi, take a daladala (shared minibus) heading to Kibosho. The fare is usually around 1,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). Inform the driver you need to get off at the stop for Sambarai. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along the dirt road heading towards Kilimanjaro Luxury Camp. Alternatively, you can ask a local for directions or hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you directly to the camp for an additional cost of about 5,000 TZS.

You can hire a taxi from Moshi directly to Kilimanjaro Luxury Camp. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes and will cost around 30,000 to 50,000 TZS depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi service you choose. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
