Getting There

Start at the center of Moshi town, near the Clock Tower. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head east on Uhuru Street towards the junction with Sokoine Road. Turn left onto Sokoine Road and follow it as it leads out of town. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Ngurdoto Crater entrance, which will be on your left. Enjoy the scenic ride!

From Moshi town, head northeast on Uhuru Street until you reach the junction with Sokoine Road. Turn left onto Sokoine Road and continue walking for approximately 10 kilometers. Public Transport (Dala-Dala)
From the Moshi Clock Tower, walk to the Dala-Dala station located nearby. Look for the Dala-Dala heading to Ngurdoto. Once you board, the fare is usually very affordable. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Ngurdoto Crater. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the crater.
