I called from Kenya to tell them I was going to get to the bus stop in Moshi in the middle of the night and they were happy to pick me up. After that, we took a little bit of time and joined the 5 day plan, although we hadn’t trained recently 😁 My guide James was really nice and I enjoyed climbing. It was a bit hard to come out at night and see the sunrise, but I was very satisfied to see the sunrise on the last bit of the mountain.

The day we felt quiet, green, and full of life. We were picked up early and arrived at the village just as the sun brushed the forest with soft light. The walk through the rainforest was calming, and the fresh mountain air made everything feel vibrant. Very enjoyable day with Evans.
