Amazing and Authentic Experience with John

We had an amazing experience with John and couldn’t recommend him enough! He arranged our visit to Materuni Waterfall, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Afterwards, he took us to a local village for a coffee experience. He quickly understood that we were looking for something authentic rather than a typical tourist experience, so he arranged something truly special, genuine, and memorable for us. The next day, we also visited Rau Forest with him, and once again everything went smoothly. John is extremely responsible, well-organized, reliable, and trustworthy. The Materuni tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Tanzania! The walk to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall was surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the countryside. The waterfall itself was stunning and the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The coffee tour was a fantastic experience, where we learned how coffee is grown, roasted, and prepared by the local Chagga community. The freshly brewed coffee was delicious, and the traditional songs and dancing made the experience even more memorable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured everything was well organised from start to finish. I highly recommend the Materuni tour to anyone looking to experience nature, culture, and authentic Tanzanian hospitality in one unforgettable day.

We had an amazing experience visiting this family-run coffee plantation. It was much more than just a coffee tour—it was a fascinating journey through every single step of the coffee-making process, from the coffee trees and harvesting to roasting, grinding, and finally tasting the freshly brewed coffee. Everything was explained with passion, and seeing the entire process from A to Z made the experience both incredibly impressive and highly educational. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel like part of the family rather than simple visitors. A special thank you to Brian and his family for their kindness, hospitality, and enthusiasm. If you’re visiting the Materuni area, this is an absolute must-do. Highly recommended!
