    Walking

    If you are in the center of Moshi, start by heading towards the main street, Uhuru Street. Walk north until you reach the junction with Sokoine Road. Turn left onto Sokoine Road and continue walking straight. Look for the signs pointing towards Kilimanjaro National Park. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will start to see the entrance to the park where you can get information about guided tours to Mt. Kilimanjaro. The view of the mountain will become visible as you get closer.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Moshi. Start your ride on Uhuru Street heading north. When you reach the junction with Sokoine Road, turn left. Continue straight, and you will see signs for Kilimanjaro National Park. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your speed. Be cautious of pedestrians and local traffic as you make your way.

    Public Transport (Dala Dala)

    From the center of Moshi, locate the Dala Dala station, which is typically near the market area. You need to find a Dala Dala heading towards Kilimanjaro National Park or one that goes to Marangu. Board the Dala Dala and inform the conductor that you are going to Mt. Kilimanjaro. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the park entrance, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the starting point of the trails.
