If you have a rental car or a private vehicle, start your journey from Moshi or Arusha. Drive towards the Kilimanjaro National Park entrance, following the signs for Machame or Marangu routes. Once at the park entrance, you will need to pay an entry fee (approximately $70 USD for non-residents). After entering the park, drive to the designated trailhead for your chosen route. From there, you can start your hike towards Stella Point, which is approximately a 6-8 hour trek from Barafu Camp.
