Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Mwanza, near the Mwanza Market. Head southeast on Nyerere Road towards the Mwaloni Fish Market. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction at the traffic lights. Turn left onto Mabatini Road and continue for approximately 1.5 km. As you walk, you will pass several local shops and cafes where you can grab a snack. After passing the Mabatini Primary School, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Kwamzungu. You will eventually come to a smaller lane on your right; take that lane. Walk for another 300 meters until you arrive at Kwamzungu, which will be marked with a sign.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mwanza. Start your journey from the city center, cycling towards Nyerere Road. Follow the same route as the walking instructions, but on a bicycle, you can take a more direct path. After reaching the traffic junction, continue straight onto Mabatini Road, maintaining a steady pace through the local neighborhoods. Be cautious of pedestrians and local traffic. Once you spot Mabatini Primary School, look for the smaller lane to your right and cycle down it. Kwamzungu will be at the end of this lane.

Public Transport (Daladala)
From the Mwanza central bus station, board a daladala heading towards Mabatini. The fare is usually very affordable. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Mabatini, which is a well-known area. Once you arrive, exit the daladala and walk towards Mabatini Primary School. From there, look for the smaller lane on your right. Walk down this lane for about 300 meters, and you will reach Kwamzungu.
