Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you're in Mwanza city center, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head towards the main road (B2) and follow it south. After about 3 kilometers, you'll reach the junction at Nyamagana. Continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you see signs for Kibandani. Turn left into Kibandani and follow the road until you reach HWPG+5H. Nyakahoja Beach will be on your right.

  • Public Bus

    From the Mwanza bus station, look for a bus heading towards Nyamagana. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Kibandani. The journey should take about 20 minutes. After disembarking, head east along the main road until you reach HWPG+5H. Nyakahoja Beach will be located along this road.

  • Walking

    If you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk from the Mwanza city center to Nyakahoja Beach. Start by heading south on the main road (B2) for approximately 5 kilometers. When you reach the Nyamagana junction, continue straight for an additional 2 kilometers. After you see signage for Kibandani, turn left and walk until you arrive at HWPG+5H, where Nyakahoja Beach is located.

  • Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)

    You can hire a Boda Boda from anywhere in Mwanza. Just tell the driver to take you to Kibandani, specifically to HWPG+5H. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
