From the center of Singida, start at the main bus station (Njiro Bus Terminal). Head south on the main road (B1) for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road to Basotu. Look for signs indicating the direction to Basotu. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers, which will take you through local villages and scenic landscapes. Be aware that this road can be dusty and uneven, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water. Once you arrive in Basotu village, ask locals for directions to Lake Basotu, which is about a 10-minute walk from the village center.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Singida. Start your journey at the Njiro Bus Terminal, heading south on the B1 road. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Basotu.
