If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, Arusha. Head west on the A23 road towards Moshi. After approximately 50 kilometers, take the turnoff towards Ol Tukai. Follow the signs leading to the Noomotio Observation Point, which is located at coordinates -2.6721361, 37.2382583. The last stretch of the journey may involve unpaved roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Ensure that you have a GPS or a map app handy to guide you accurately.
Public Transport
To reach Noomotio Observation Point using public transport, first take a bus from Arusha to Ol Tukai. The journey typically costs around $5 and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon reaching Ol Tukai, you can hire a taxi or a local motorcycle (boda-boda) to take you to the observation point. Expect to pay around $10 for the taxi or $3 for the boda-boda. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your ride.
