Walking
Start your journey in Singida town. Head towards the Singida bus station, which is located near the center of town. From the bus station, take a bus heading towards Babati. This journey typically takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Babati, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you will need to find a local motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or a shared taxi that can take you closer to Mount Kwaraa. Inform the driver that your destination is Mount Kwaraa, and they should be familiar with it. The ride from Babati to Mount Kwaraa will take approximately 30 minutes. If you prefer walking, you can walk from the bus terminal to Mount Kwaraa, which is about 10 kilometers away, but it will take a few hours. Ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you along the route.
Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
After reaching Babati bus terminal, locate the motorcycle taxi area. Negotiate a fare with a boda boda driver to take you to Mount Kwaraa. The trip should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow safety guidelines. The boda boda will take you as close as possible to the base of Mount Kwaraa. Once you arrive, ask the driver to drop you at the nearest point to the hiking trail.
