Getting There

Bicycle
From the center of Singida, start at the main market (Soko la Mjini). Head south on the main road towards Mwanza. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the junction leading to the Mwanza road (Bunda Road). Turn left onto Bunda Road and continue straight for about 15 kilometers. You will pass through small villages along the way. Once you reach the outskirts of Mwanza, look for signs directing you to Saanane National Park. The park entrance is located on the lake shore, a few kilometers from the city center.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
From your location in Singida, find a nearby motorbike taxi (Boda Boda). Ask the driver to take you to the bus station (Kituo cha Mabasi) in Singida. From there, take a bus heading to Mwanza. The bus ride will take about 3-4 hours. Upon arrival in Mwanza, you can hire another Boda Boda to take you directly to Saanane National Park. The park is approximately 10 kilometers from the bus station in Mwanza. Ensure the driver knows the destination.

Begin at the Singida bus station, where you will find buses heading to Mwanza. Purchase a ticket for the journey to Mwanza, which typically takes 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at Mwanza's bus terminal, exit and look for a taxi or Boda Boda. Inform the driver you wish to go to Saanane National Park. The distance from the bus terminal to the park entrance is about 10 kilometers, and the ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
