Walking
If you are in central Mwanza, start at the Mwanza Train Station. Exit the station and head east on Uhuru Street towards the lakefront. Continue along Uhuru Street until you reach the junction with Nyerere Road. Turn left onto Nyerere Road and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Mwanza Yacht Club. From there, you can hire a local boat to take you directly to Saanane National Park. The boat ride is approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the park, follow the signs to the Park HQ.

Bicycle
Starting from Mwanza city center, head towards the lakefront area on Uhuru Street. Continue along the lakefront path, cycling past the Mwanza Yacht Club. Once you reach the yacht club, you can arrange for a boat to take you to Saanane National Park HQ. It's a scenic ride and the boat trip will take around 15-20 minutes. After disembarking the boat, follow the path to the Park HQ.

Public Boat
Locate the public boat terminal near the Mwanza Yacht Club. You can ask locals for directions if you're unsure. Board a boat going to Saanane Island. Be sure to confirm with the boat operator that the destination is Saanane National Park. The boat ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the island, follow the marked trails to the Park HQ.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
From a central point in Mwanza, find a Boda Boda stand (you can ask locals for the nearest one). Tell the driver you want to go to the Mwanza Yacht Club. Once you arrive there, you can arrange for a boat to Saanane National Park. The Boda Boda ride should take about 10 minutes, and the boat ride will take an additional 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival at Saanane, follow signs to the Park HQ.
