    If you are driving from the city of Mbeya, head northeast on the A7 road. Continue on the A7 until you reach the junction near Ifakara. Take the B132 road towards Kivukoni. Follow the signs for Kilombero Bridge. The bridge is located approximately 20 kilometers from Ifakara. You will see the bridge from a distance as you approach Kivukoni. There is no entry fee to cross the bridge.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Kilombero Bridge via public transportation, take a bus from Mbeya to Ifakara. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station. The journey takes about 5-6 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Ifakara, you can take a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or a local taxi to get to Kivukoni, which is about 20 kilometers away. The cost for the boda boda ride is usually around 5,000 TZS, while a taxi may cost around 15,000 TZS. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
