Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Mbeya, take the A104 road heading northeast towards the town of Mwanza. After approximately 200 kilometers, you will reach the junction for the B2 road. Turn left onto the B2 and continue for about 50 kilometers. Once you approach the Ndabaka area, look for signs directing you to Ndabaka Gate. The gate is located at the coordinates RV4F+V92, Ndabaka. Parking is available at the gate.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From Mbeya, catch a bus to Mwanza at the Mbeya bus terminal. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival in Mwanza, you can find smaller buses or shared taxis (dala-dala) heading towards Ndabaka Gate. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they go to Ndabaka. The fare for the dala-dala should be around 2000 TZS. The shared taxi may cost more, approximately 5000-7000 TZS.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route from Mwanza to Ndabaka Gate, you can hire a taxi. This option is more expensive, usually costing between 100,000 to 150,000 TZS. Confirm the price before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to Ndabaka Gate located at RV4F+V92.

Walking

If you are staying nearby Ndabaka Gate and prefer to walk, ensure you have a map or a GPS device. The entrance is accessible via well-marked trails from the surrounding areas. Always follow the signs leading to the gate and be aware of your surroundings.
