Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Stone Town. Head northeast on Mkunazini Street toward Kenyatta Road, then turn left onto Kenyatta Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mzungu Road, and take a right. Follow Mzungu Road until you reach the junction with Nkurumah Road. Turn left, and then take a right onto R5RR+9W5, which leads directly to Said Muhoud Mosque. Parking may be available nearby, but be cautious of local traffic regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Said Muhoud Mosque via public transportation, locate a dala-dala (minibus) station in Stone Town. Take a dala-dala heading towards the market or the old fort, as these routes go through central areas close to the mosque. Inform the conductor to drop you off near the mosque. The fare is typically around 200-500 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings) depending on the distance. Once you get off, follow local signs or ask for directions to R5RR+9W5 to find the mosque.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Stone Town, you can walk to Said Muhoud Mosque. From the Old Fort, head southeast on Soko Muhogo Street, then take a left onto Mkunazini Street. Continue straight until you reach Kenyatta Road, then turn right. Follow the road until you reach Nkurumah Road, where you will turn left. Continue walking until you reach R5RR+9W5, where the mosque is located. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
