Walking
Start at the Forodhani Gardens in Stone Town. Head east on the waterfront promenade towards the Old Fort. Continue along the coast until you reach the roundabout near the Darajani Market. From the roundabout, take the road heading south, which is Mkunazini Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Shangani Street. Turn left onto Shangani Street. Follow this street until you see the Abusso Building on your left side. Baharia Hindi Beach is located near this area, and you can ask locals for the exact beach entrance.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, begin at the Forodhani Gardens. Cycle east along the coastline towards the Old Fort. Continue past the roundabout at Darajani Market, then take Mkunazini Street heading south. When you reach the intersection with Shangani Street, turn left and ride along that street until you spot the Abusso Building. Look for signs or locals directing you to Baharia Hindi Beach from there.
Public Transport (Dala Dala)
Find your way to the Dala Dala station in Stone Town, located near the Darajani Market. Take a Dala Dala heading towards the beach areas. Inform the conductor you are going to Baharia Hindi Beach. Once you arrive at the closest stop, disembark and ask locals for the direction to Shangani Street. Walk towards Shangani Street, and locate the Abusso Building, which is nearby the beach.
